As a Registered Care Home Manager, you’ll be accountable for the operational functioning, strategic development and business success of your home.

As a Care Home Manager, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the care home.

Care Home Managers need experience working in a care or nursing setting. The type and length and experience will depend on the role you’re applying for, but it’ll usually be at least two year’s management or supervisory experience in a relevant care setting.
Many Care Home Managers have worked as Deputy Managers previously.
At Exemplar Health Care, we provide specialist nursing care for adults living with complex health needs. Our Care Home Manager roles require a first level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) pin number. In some circumstances and where it’s the right fit, will we recruit a Care Home Manager who has equivalent experience.
The role also requires:
- management or supervisory training, certificate or qualification post qualification
- clinical training and/or CPD
- leadership and management training and/or CPD
- management experience in a complex care service.
